The original three perimeter rings of defense are still in place, although today, the Club makes do with "just" manned guards at the three main entrance points to the Beach Club's grounds: The land access from the bridge, boat access from the marina, and the beach gate to the sand.
On staff is a permanent inhouse security detail, working in shifts to provide 24/7 guard teams in radio contact with each other and with backups off the premises.

The resort is self-contained for long term autonomy. It has its own backup power plant, its own backup water treatment system, and a small two-room medical facility which is open for basic emergencies during high season and special holidays.
